Profile: The CEntre for REsearch and TEchnology THessaly, or CE.RE.TE.TH., is a legal, non-profit entity organised under the auspices of the General Secretariat for Research and Technology (GSRT), of the Greek Ministry of Development. CE.RE.TE.TH. was established in January 2006. The centre's main mission is to conduct basic, applied, and technological research that leads to new products and services with industrial, economic and social impact and supports the R&D needs of local, national, and European industrial and government institutions. CE.RE.TE.TH. organisation includes four institutes located in the capital cities of the four prefectures of Thessaly region and the central administration located in the city of Volos.

Role in the project / Tasks Attributed: CERETETH will lead the software development and the system integration WPs. CERETETH will also partially participate to all WPs providing R&D support and also contribute to the dissemination of the results.

Previous experience relating to their role: The Centre's staff participating in the project has considerable expertise in automation, software and system integration. Moreover, the team from CERETETH has participated in several collaborative industrial research projects.

Profile of Staff undertaking the job: The research team that will undertake the task consists of engineers with strong expertise in the fields of automation and software development. They have participated in several research projects with considerable success.

Reasons for selection by the SMEs: The SMEs have selected CERETETH due to the substantial expertise of its personnel in the fields of software development, automation and wireless telecommunications which is crucial for the successful implementation of the project's deliverables.
